Observer Position Review: Carolinas' Defensive Linemen
Posted May 17, 2009
1. Gabe King, high school undecided: At the recent Scout.com combine in Charlotte, King was virtually unblockable in one-on-one drills, getting to the dummy QB every time with power and a number of finely-honed moves. And at 6-foot-4 and 251 pounds, he also ran a 4.7 40-yard dash. Wherever he plays in the fall, the recruiters will be watching. He has offers from California, North Carolina (his early favorites), Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, N.C. State and West Virginia, among others.
