No. 2 Seed Tar Heels Open ACC Tourney With Duke

Winners of at least 40 games for a school-record eighth straight season, Coastal Division champion North Carolina is the No. 2 seed for the 2009 ACC Baseball Championship, which opens Wednesday at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The Tar Heels (41-14) will open play against Duke Wednesday at 8 p.m. followed by meetings with Virginia Friday at 8 p.m. and Clemson Saturday at 4 p.m. in the round-robin event.
