Legendary ACC Team No. 15: 2008 North Carolina
Posted May 20, 2009
Even though this group avenged its national semifinal loss to Kansas a year later with a breeze to a national championship, the score 40-12 will always live in infamy somewhere in the minds of North Carolina fans. And it should. That was the score at one point in the first half of UNC’s loss to the Jayhawks. It was the largest margin separating two teams at any time in a semifinal and was a total embarrassment to Roy Williams and the Tar Heels.
