Posted May 24, 2009
Clemson used a crucial error by UNC to score a run in the bottom of the 11th inning yesterday on a sharply hit ball by Wilson Boyd and grab a 4-3 victory in the fourth round of the ACC Baseball Tournament. The loss, in front of 6,956 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, the largest crowd to ever watch a college baseball game in North Carolina, was UNC's second consecutive in the tournament and ended its chances of reaching today's title game.
