Kansas falls to North Carolina in final

It looked like it would be a long day for Kansas when, after watching right-handed starter Cameron Selik throw only five pitches, the Jayhawks sent a reliever to the bullpen to start warming up. And it was long -- but in a slightly better way than the moment foretold. Selik calmed down and led his team to a 5-1 victory over Coastal Carolina in the afternoon game of the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional. KU was eliminated by UNC, 12-1, Sunday evening. (Wichita Eagle)
