Tar Heels land football center

Russell Bodine, a 6-foot-4, 290-pound football center, committed to the University of North Carolina on Monday. Bodine is the son of Brian Bodine, one of the offensive line coaches at Fork Union (Va.) Military Academy. Russell Bodine had 15 scholarship offers, but most seriously considered UNC, Virginia Tech, Boston College and Virginia. (Raleigh News & Observer)
