The festivities began with a football game day atmosphere along Stadium Drive—fans in sky blue and purple and gold munching chicken legs and pimento cheese sandwiches as bumper-to-bumper traffic snaked along. Other fans not so fortunate to have been blessed with tickets barked “Need Two” and held up their fingers with a longing look spread across their faces.
