2009 College World Series Capsules

North Carolina is making its eighth appearance in the College World Series. The Tar Heels are the first ACC team to make four consecutive trips to Omaha. UNC is the first ACC team to play in a bowl game in football, reach the Final Four in men’s basketball and advance to the College World Series in baseball in the same year.
