Donavan Tate undecided on future

Class of 2009 ESPNU 150 athlete Donavan Tate, who signed with North Carolina in February, was selected by the San Diego Padres with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2009 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. Tate, who intended to play both football and baseball with the Tar Heels, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he's undecided on his future, "I don't know what I am going to do. I haven't thought about that. I guess at a certain time I'll have to make the call and decide what I'll do then, but there is no guarantee at this moment." (ESPN.com)
