John Yokley dies at 64


, a member of the North Carolina varsity basketball team from 1964-66, passed away Wednesday morning after a battle with acute leukemia in a Charlotte-area hospital. Yokley, who was living in High Point, was 64. David Rowe, a teammate of Yokley's at Mount Airy High School and on the freshman team at North Carolina during the 1962-63 season, said the news of his friend's passing was a shock.
