UNC, South Carolina lead for A.J. Cann

Forget the rumors that North Carolina is fading in the chase for lineman A.J. Cann of Bamberg (S.C.) Erhardt. Cann said by phone Thursday that the Tar Heels and South Carolina are his two favorite schools. He's trying to trim his list of 34 scholarship offers. UNC and the Gamecocks are co-leaders, he said, of a top-five list that also includes Georgia Tech, Clemson and N.C. State.
