Is Baseball Becoming A Revenue Sport?

Ping. Pong. No, this is not word association and table tennis is not the game we're thinking of. For those with a more conventional sports orientation, ping is the signature sound of college baseball, the oddly musical note struck when an aluminum bat meets a ball. And, perhaps, it is the sound of cash registers jingling, at least in the minds of collegiate athletics administrators.
