North Carolina’s football program has had much more success than the average college fan might realize. The problem, however, is the program is basically 0-and-forever in the biggest games it has ever played. The 1980 Tar Heels won the ACC title in easy fashion by blitzing through the conference, which included a rare win at Clemson.
