Why he's here: Because he's an incredible athlete who is going to help make the Tar Heels' linebacking corps one of the best in the ACC, that's why. Carter started all 13 games last year and ranked fourth on the team with 68 tackles. He led the team with 11 tackles for loss and had five sacks and one interception. (ESPN.com)
