UNC in Marcus Lattimore's final 5?


Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes High's Marcus Lattimore, the nation's top running back by many estimates, visited UNC over the weekend. Lattimore, who is 6 feet and 210 pounds, recently cut his list to eight schools – Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Maryland, North Carolina, Penn State and South Carolina. He plans to have that figure trimmed to five by summer's end. North Carolina offered a scholarship to Durham Mt. Zion Prep receiver Tehvyn Brantley after he attended the Tar Heels camp last week (Charlotte Observer)
