Seven wasted weeks in the state of North Carolina: Tar Heels at home against Citadel and Georgia Southern; Wolfpack at home against Murray State and Gardner-Webb; Duke at home against Richmond and NC-Central; and Wake Forest playing host to Elon. The only game remotely interesting is Richmond at Duke in the season opener—if only to see if coach David Cutcliffe has changed the mentality in Durham.
