A Look Back At 2009 On The Diamond


The 2009 UNC baseball season extended the most successful run in program history with an ACC-record fourth straight trip to the College World Series, an eighth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and at least 40 wins for the eighth year in a row. The Tar Heels, who were 48-18, posted a 36-7 record in the newly renovated Boshamer Stadium and hosted the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional and Super Regional in the sparkling new stadium. (Tar Heel Blue)
