Mariners GM visits with Dustin Ackley's advisor

General manager Jack Zduriencik and Scott Boras, the advisor for No. 1 Draft choice Dustin Ackley, had dinner at Dodger Stadium on Saturday night. But there were no contract talks regarding the UNC star. The Mariners have until Aug. 17 to reach agreement on a contract with the first baseman-outfielder. If that doesn't happen, Ackley would return to the Draft next year and Seattle would receive compensation. (MLB.com)
