Track family suffers tragic loss


The UNC track and field program suffered a tragic loss to its family on June 26 when the wife and 7-year-old daughter of former All-America javelin thrower Sean Murray were killed when a tree fell onto their minivan in Montgomery County in Maryland. Murray earned All-America honors three times and was a two-time ACC champion between 1989-92. He is currently a lawyer in Washington, D.C. (Tar Heel Blue)
