Butch Davis is building a powerhouse at UNC
Posted Jul 7, 2009
Last year’s 8–5 record provided a taste of what’s possible at UNC. The Tar Heels lost four games by three points or fewer and were at one point atop the ACC’s Coastal Division. (Given the nature of last year’s wild race, that’s a distinction just about every team in the six-team aggregation enjoyed.) In only two years, Butch Davis has turned the Tar Heels from a moribund program into a contender.
