Ty Lawson, close to fully healed, ignites Tar Heels' high-powered offense


is up and running again. So is North Carolina. UNC, behind Lawson, was overpowering last weekend in its first two games of the NCAA Tournament. His passing, shooting and running the break has UNC on a roll heading into Thursday’s East Regional semifinal against Washington State in Charlotte. With every game, Lawson moves closer to his normal playing style and speed after an extended recovery from a sprained ankle. (Winston-Salem Journal)
