UNC women rally, advance to New Orleans


Before the start of the women’s 2008 NCAA Tournament, only four eighth-seeded teams had knocked off a top seed to advance to the Sweet 16. The eighth-seeded Georgia Bulldogs had it in mind to join that list on Tuesday night as they challenged top-seeded North Carolina in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Tar Heels squelched any such notions. (Raleigh News & Observer)
