Ty Lawson off the mark

It might be stretching it to call this the beginning of the Lawson era, but there are a lot of people interested in tracking the progress of the Nuggets' first-round draft acquisition. In the Nuggets' 78-76 loss to the Spurs on Tuesday night in the NBA summer league, Lawson's debut wasn't much to write home about. Lawson missed all seven shots from the field and finished with eight points, three assists and four turnovers in 29 minutes. (Denver Post)
