Eric Mack commits to Gamecocks

Calhoun County’s Eric Mack, regarded as one of the top high school offensive linemen in the country, committed Wednesday night to USC. "I got tired of making people guess and wonder," Mack said. "Now I can just focus on my schoolwork next year and not worry about where I'm going to be playing on the next level." Mack (6-foot-4, 310 pounds) picked the Gamecocks over a parade of offers that included Clemson, Oklahoma, Michigan, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, North Carolina and Florida State. (The State)
