Defensive Line Depth Lacking

Butch Davis is the definition of a defensive line aficionado. So one can only imagine what entered his mind when the third-string defensive line unit was called to the field during the spring’s first practice, and Tavares Brown was the lone player that stepped forward. Gone are veteran leaders Kentwan Balmer, Hilee Taylor and Kyndraus Guy, and the recently signed crop of top-notch talent on the defensive line will not arrive until training camp beings in August.
