Butch Davis talks fast. Southern, sure. But fast. He might be from Arkansas, but if you think he’s all sugar and molasses, forget it. Ask him a question at the ACC Kickoff and out comes the answer. Davis oozes that, Let’s go, let’s get it on. Some coaches are folksy, like Bobby Bowden, and some have a relaxed but confident drawl, like Paul Johnson. But Davis is all size and energy – and you can see it his teams.
