ACC Football Commitment Lists: Coastal Division, August 5

After only one pledge last week, the commits certainly didn’t spike up much in this update. This week, just three more recruits trickled in. Duke continued the changes in its recruiting ways by picking up Laken Tomlinson, an offensive tackle prospect from Chicago (Ill.) Lane Tech. Tomlinson had offers for most of the Big Ten, including mighty Ohio State. But Tomlinson cited Duke’s “amazing education” as a key factor in his decision. (ACC Sports Journal)
