Posted Aug 10, 2009
Belmont Abbey men's basketball team will play an exhibition game against the UNC Tar Heels in Chapel Hill this year. The Crusaders will travel to Chapel Hill on Nov. 6 to face head coach Roy Williams and the Tar Heels, UNC's first game since defeating Michigan State in April for the national championship. For the past few seasons, Abbey head coach Stephen Miss, a 1992 graduate of UNC, has talked about playing the Tar Heels.
