Tight End Prospect Alex Smith Gives Michigan Another Look

Alex Smith loved his visit to Ann Arbor and his experience meeting coaches Calvin Magee and Rich Rodriguez. He remains skeptical of Coach Rodriguez's use of the tight end. That will likely change this year with the emergence of Kevin Koger and Michigan's not-so-secret trip to Oklahoma to learn aspects of the spread offense attack incorporating the tight end, as Sam Bradford and Oklahoma do. Smith is also considering Wisconsin, which has been marketing its tight end-friendly squad. (Bleacher Report)
