Gamecocks have shot at Lattimore, Floyd

By now, most Gamecock fans, even those who follow recruiting on a casual level, are aware USC is hotly pursuing stud running back Marcus Lattimore of powerful Byrnes High School. Lattimore is rated the No. 7 national prospect by Rivals.com. But here's the twist: USC has a solid chance of signing another national Top 10 prospect - defensive tackle Shariff Floyd of Philadelphia, the No. 9 rated recruit overall. (Gamecock Central)
