Sharrif Floyd considering Gamecocks


Defensive lineman Sharrif Floyd (6-3, 311) of Philadelphia has decided to make South Carolina one of his official visits. South Carolina recruiter G.A. Mangus has worked his way into good position with Floyd, and the Gamecocks are considered contenders to land him. Floyd said he also will take official visits to Penn State, Ohio State and Florida.
