Just how good will North Carolina’s veteran defense be? If the Tar Heels are to repeat or improve upon their eight-win campaign from a year ago, the defense not only is going to have be nasty and opportunistic, it will have to be reliable enough to keep Carolina from having to play catch-up. Talent isn’t an issue. With nine starters back, UNC is loaded with playmakers.
