Cal leads for Gabe King
Posted Aug 26, 2009
The headliner of the group is defensive end Gabe King. King is one of the elite lineman nationally with offers from schools like Tennessee, Georgia, Florida State, Cal, Miami, UCLA, Michigan and North Carolina. "Cal leads Oregon and Alabama right now," Coach O said. "Tosh Lupoi is recruiting Gabe and he's the main reason Cal is in front. Gabe likes him a lot and he liked it at Cal when we visited. He felt very comfortable there and of all four of the players, he could be the closest one to commit. It could be later this week or in two weeks but I think he's close."
