The latest great pickup for the conference came at Wake Forest, where the Deacs landed Neil Basford, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound tight end from Bishop Kenney in Jacksonville, Fla. Three ACC schools -- Virginia, Virginia Tech and UNC -- were in the running earlier this month for offensive tackle Khamrone Kolb (Burke, Va./Lake Braddock), who on Sunday narrowed it down to Penn State, Connecticut or Virginia. Overall, the ACC has 10 recruits from the ESPNU 150, and Florida State leads the way with three of those players: (ESPN.com)
