Sharrif Floyd appears to 50-50 to go to Penn State
Posted Aug 28, 2009
Shariff Floyd of Philadelphia, a 5-star defensive tackle from Philadelphia, will be making official visits to South Carolina and Florida, according to ESPN.com. Earlier this summer, it looked good for Floyd to matriculate at Penn State. But Steve Spurrier at South Carolina and of course Meyer are pushing hard for Floyd, who some rate as the No. 1 D-tackle prospect in the nation. Floyd, now, appears to 50-50 at best to go to Penn State. And as I've said before, Philly kids are never automatics for Penn State. They always seem to be looking elsewhere, usually south.
