ACC, Gator Bowl in limbo

Some of the best bowl memories for area college football teams have been Gator Bowl memories. Between them, Carolina and State have made ten Gator Bowl trips. Carolina's Gator Bowl wins over West Virginia in 1997 (20-13) and Virginia Tech in 1998 (42-3) marked the pinnacle of Mack Brown's tenure at UNC. But now it appears the ACC's long-standing relationship with the Gator Bowl is in limbo. (WRAL Sports Fan)
