A big year tips, kicks off for UNC

This is a huge weekend for the University of North Carolina's biggest two marquee sports: the men's basketball team kicks off its 100th anniversary season with an alumni game on Friday and the football team plays its first game of the season on Saturday at Kenan Stadium against The Citadel at 6 p.m. "I want it to be a year-long celebration," basketball coach Roy Williams said.
