Dean Smith: Jordan a special player, special person

"I am quite proud of Michael being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. Certainly that is an honor that was no surprise. He's been long considered one of the most accomplished ever to play basketball. What I am even more proud of is the way Michael has conducted himself as a person. I know his mother, Deloris, feels that way and his dad, James, whom we lost far too long ago, is with Michael in spirit and is extremely proud of his son." (Raleigh News & Observer)
