How great a college player was Michael Jordan?

The book on such matters—and by "the book," I mean Legends Of College Basketball, the ranking of history's top 100 college players I wrote in 2003—places Thompson at No. 6 and Jordan at No. 16. After a half-dozen years, that still seems right. (Sporting News)
