Marcus Lattimore highlights Athlon Player of the Year watch list


Marcus Lattimore, RB, Byrnes (Duncan, S.C.) AC100 No. 4 Many consider James F. Byrnes High School the top football team in the nation for 2009. Lattimore has done his part to lead the Rebels to a 2-0 start thus far. He has rushed for 285 yards and five touchdowns in the first two games of the year. Lattimore has to be considered the favorite as his team is a national contender, he will post a huge season and will be ranked a top-5 AC100 talent. (Athlon Sports)
