Given that North Carolina is in the mix for Barnes, how do the Tar Heels feel about their chances? The vibe within the Carolina program is as optimistic as it's ever been. The Tar Heels treated Barnes to quite a memorable weekend during his Sept. 4-6 official visit in Chapel Hill. Barnes had front row seats at UNC's professional alumni game and later spoke openly about how cool it was to see the past, present and future of the UNC program all mixed together in the same building.
