Khairi Fortt injures knee in loss
Posted Sep 18, 2009
Khairi Fortt, the senior linebacker who is listed by some scouting services as the No. 2 high school player at his position in the country, left the game midway through the second half after sustaining an injury to his right knee after a rushing attempt. Fortt was examined by the team's doctor, Dan Zelazny, at halftime. Zelazny said tests on the extent of the injury were inconclusive and that Fortt would undergo an MRI.
