Portland latest stop for Russ Adams

Laurinburg native Russ Adams has moved on from the Toronto Blue Jays organization, and is trying to get back to the show with the San Diego Padres. The Blue Jays designated Adams for assignment on July 3, marking the second time the organization that took him as the 14th overall pick in 2002 had done that this year. (Laurinburg Exchange)
