ATH Brian Riggins favors Hokies

South Columbus junior athlete Brian Riggins, who was timed at 4.48 in the 40-yard dash at a Nike combine, has played both running back and quarterback for the Stallions this season, but is back as the team's starting quarterback for now. He has an official offer from North Carolina. Other schools showing interest include Clemson, Duke, N.C. State, Florida State, Georgia and Boston College. Riggins told Scout.com that his favorites are the Hokies, Tar Heels and Tigers, with Virginia Tech holding a slight lead.
