Terrence Jones' basketball recruiting cuts into football time

Terrence Jones, Jefferson's prized basketball recruit, did not play in Friday's football game at Sherwood. Jefferson basketball coach Pat Strickland said Jones hasn't been to enough football practices because of the recruiting attention he has received. Coaches from UCLA, Washington and Oregon have visited Jones' home recently. In the coming week, Oklahoma is expected to make its pitch, followed by Kentucky, Arizona and Kansas. (Oregon Live)
