Junior TE Drew Owens favors South Carolina

Junior tight end Drew Owens (Charlotte, N.C./Ardrey Kell) made a unofficial visit to South Carolina this weekend to take in the Kentucky game. He spoke with TheBigSpur.com after the visit and said he came away with a new leader.
Owens has written offers from South Carolina, North Carolina, East Carolina, Vanderbilt, and NC State. He is also getting interest from Oregon, Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida State, Miami, Boston College, Wake Forest, UCLA, Oregon State, Kansas, and others.
