Wolfpack vs. Tar Heels has lost its luster


Remember when it was a big deal that North Carolina and N.C. State were going to be playing each other in the final game of the regular season? Well, it’s not anymore. By the time Nov. 28 rolls around, even fans of the Tar Heels and Wolfpack might have a hard time mustering any enthusiasm for the traditional rivalry game. That’s how badly things have gone for the state’s two highest-profile programs this year. (Wilmington Star News)
