North Carolina is the latest program to jump in with a scholarship offer for Class of 2011 ESPNU150 Watch List defensive tackle Kevin McReynolds (Washington, D.C./Saint John's College). The Tar Heels join Maryland, New Mexico and UTEP in offering the 6-foot-3, 274-pounder. McReynolds said he contacted and spoke with UNC defensive line coach John Blake and Tar Heels director of player personnel Marcus Berry, who is from the D.C. area, on the phone when he received the offer.
