Thursday showdown could spark Florida State

Florida State on Tuesday practiced for the final time before traveling to North Carolina, and Seminoles players are looking forward to Thursday's game for several reasons. QB Christian Ponder said that the UNC game, the Seminoles' first against the Tar Heels since 2004, would give FSU a chance to "shock the world" and gain some positive momentum after what has been a disappointing first half of the season.
