North Carolina lost three starting players from their national finalist team last year. Yet they currently have a higher ranking, and a better ACC record than last year. How could that be possible? A major reason has been the addition of Cal-State Fullerton transfer Michael Farfan. The central midfielder, with U.S. residency pedigree, has been the leading scorer for the Tar Heels this season.
